The staff at Northern Westchester County Dental are wonderful! Kristin at the front desk is friendly and helpful. Dr. Patel is very nice and she takes the time to explain everything that’s going on. Dr Shadan Torabi graduated from New York University achieving a degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Torabi has an eclectic yet calming personality. During your initial County Dental at Yorktown examination, we will look for common warning signs of periodontal disease and evaluate the condition of the gums, noting any recession, bleeding, or bone loss. We will also evaluate your risk factors for gum disease, such as diabetes, smoking, and the use of certain medications. If you do exhibit signs of gum disease, we will create a customized treatment plan to reduce the infection and reverse the progression of the disease.This hygiene maintenance program is designed to prevent periodontal (gum) disease and treat any existing infections in order to establish good oral health.
